Hey there! My name is Ethan Miller, owner and creator of HogsWithABlog.com. I started this website as a fun little project in my free time as a home for articles written by my good friend Kyle Nagy and me. The concept for this blog started off as a place to write about a bunch of random games or other events that very few people would ever consider going to. We’ve kicked around the idea of going to a completely random NCAA Bowl game like the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, the NBA D-League All Star Game, a Premier League soccer game across the pond, and even a NASCAR race. I’m not sure how faithful this blog will end up being to that original idea, but at the end of the day, we just want our pieces to be as fun and entertaining as they possibly can for you, our faithful reader.
Kyle and I met as students at the University of Arkansas, which is how I came up with the name for the site. As it turned out, we’re both massive sports fans, lovers of all things Cleveland and New England, and huge P1’s (loyal disciples) of Dallas’s sports talk radio station 1310 The Ticket. After graduating from the University of Arkansas in 2015, I found work back near my hometown of Gloversville, NY, where I’m currently employed as a software developer for an insurance company. Kyle is also a recent Arkansas grad, and took his talents to New England, where he works as an insurance adjuster.
A late addition to the HWB Editorial staff is another degenerate from The Ville, Matt Semione. Matt is a great writer who loves sports just as much as Kyle and I do, and has been helping us put together content over the last few months.
I also want to send a shout out to my beautiful girlfriend Kelley, who holds the title of Pseudo Editor-In-Chief here at Hogs with a Blog, and will be helping to ensure we put out great content for all to enjoy.
Once again, I want to thank you all for checking out the site, and I truly hope you’ll enjoy it. Feel free to check us out on Twitter at @EMiller518 and @kylefootball216, or contact me via e-mail at email@example.com.
